Join me for a ridgy didge night of cliché and half decent piss! Like many of my UK based brethren, I can't get home for a visit, so I'll be bringing home here!
Aussie wine is no longer just sunshine in a bottle and ball-tearing tannins with a lovely burn. Things have changed, and it is now potentially the most exciting wine producing country in the whole wide world. Cooler vineyard sites, experimental wine growing and wine making techniques and the promotion of most suitable grape varieties has been at the forefront over the past decade or two, and the results are unreal. Come, have a taste. There may even be lamingtons.
6 spots are available, £40 a head, bring both a thirst and an appetite. Wednesday 22nd September // 7-9pm // Newington Green
