Collection: Jura

A hop, skip and a jump to the east of Burgundy you'll find the dramatic vineyards of the Jura. What a region, full of diversity of terroir, grape variety and production method. Not to mention the swathe of exceptional producers that call this tiny pocket of Franche-Comté home. Chardonnay and Savagnin are the key white grape varieties, produced in a range of styles from classic Burgundian through oxidative in the case of Vin Jaune. Diversity is the word for red wine too, with Gamay, Pinot Noir, Poulsard and Trousseau dominating a smattering of other local varieties. The one thing which to me defines the wines of Jura is a sense of immense energy and verve which cuts through every sip. They are electric.
