Clos du Rousseau is mostly planted to Pinot, which makes sense, as Rousseau, Burgundy and Pinot fit pretty well in a sentence. Yet there's also some older Chardy, which also makes sense, and here it is. Fermented and matured in older oak. Cut and thrust on show here, with plenty of concentration to boot. A beautiful expression crying out for some seafood.
