Classic Gewurz, a touch of sugar, lovely fragrance and subtle spice. Powerful!
Domaine Kientzler are one of the great Alsatian producers, with outstanding holdings around Ribeauvillé. Fine, elegant and restrained, it’ll pair perfectly with spicier cuisines.

Production Method: Sustainable farming. Temperature controlled fermentation in stainless steel.
Style: Off-Dry, Intense, aromatic, and exotic
Pairing Suggestion: Spicy foods, richer dishes
Profile: One of the deepest coloured white wines, it's bunches tend to be a mixture of deep gold and pink grapes. It is extremely aromatic, with unmistakable lychee, tropical fruit, floral and pepper spice fragrance and has a tendency toward higher alcohol levels, and relatively moderate acidity. It quite easily achieves the sugar levels needed to produce late harvested sweet wines, particularly in Alsace. It pairs well with robust cuisine, including stinky cheese and spicy, fragrant Asian cuisines.
Classic Regions: Alsace (France), Alto-Adige (Italy), Marlborough (New Zealand)
The Kientzler family has been growing vines for more than 5 generations in Ribeauvillé and the surrounding area. Today, the Kientzlers farm almost 14ha of vines in Ribeauvillé, Bergheim, Hunawihr and Riquewihr, including significant parcels in the Grand Crus of Geisberg, Osterberg and Kirchberg. It is not hard to understand why this estate is so highly regarded within France as one of the leading domaines of Alsace.
