Domaine Labet, Chardonnay 'En Billat' 2016

Similar to the 'Varrons' this Chardy had an extended elevage in older oak. I'll run out of words to express my adoration of this particular cuvée from Labet (I have kept a bottle for myself). Crystalline. There is so much power here, nerve and drive, all undercut by the most sumptuous acid line that makes you feel you could imbibe this 24/7, it is that fresh. If only there was more!
