Domaine Saumaize-Michelin, Saint-Véran 2021

Christine and Roger Saumaize own 9.5 hectares of vines in Pouilly-Fuissé. They practice biodynamic farming, limited yields and manual harvesting, and vinify all their parcels separately. Like all the greatest winemakers, their goal is to express the terroir, and may I say, mission accomplished. All their wines are gorgeous, crystalline expressions of the land, aged on the lees for twelve months with the odd stir here and there. Yum!
