Fattoria San Lorenzo are located in the Marche region of Central-Eastern Italy, slap bang in the middle of the Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi appellation. Verdicchio isn’t often made into natural wine, but Natalino Crognaletti doesn’t care about that. He started bottling his natural wines in 1985, but his family’s winemaking legacy extends for generations before him. Natalino’s wines are expressive of the Marche’s rich terroir, and are the product of thoroughly organic and biodynamic vineyard work. A huge animal lover, Natalino and his family share the estate with dozens of farm animals, and the rows are kept in check by rabbits and geese. Cute!
