Finca Casa Balaguer hails from the unlikely location of Villena, an industrial town at a whopping 600 meters above sea level. They predominantly work with 20 hectares of local varieties which are farmed either organically or biodynamically. Having started from scratch, the Finca Casa Balaguer winery has gone on to cement itself as one of the most highly regarded producers in the DO Alicante region. Unfiltered, unfined, and with no sulphur added at any stage, these wines punch well above their very respectable price points… What's not to love?
