A ripper, pretty much exactly what you want. A combo of fullness and texture with saline thrust and cut. This starts of all yellow fruit before heading down the baked goods route. Everything is as it should be.

Fabien Duperray is one of Burgundy's leading wine agents. Whilst a well known force in the French wine scene, strangely Fabien opted to label his wines with a different moniker. Jules Desjourneys got its name after the legendary Beaujolais vigneron Jules Chauvet, and Desjourney followed simply because he thought it sounded cool. All farming is biodynamic and yields are small: all an attempt to make age-worthy wines with exceptional balance. The reds come from three crus, Chénas, Fleurie et Moulin-à-Vent, whilst the whites hail from Macon-Verzé, St-Veran and three of the Pouillys (Loché, Vinzelles and Fuissé). After experimenting with different vessels for ageing Fabian has now opted for steel and glass as he didn’t like how oak masked the terroir in his wines. Upper echelon gear.
