Lammidia was started in Abruzzo by two friends who converted their passion for drinking natural wine into a passion for making it. It started out in Davide’s grandmother’s kitchen, the same grandmother who gave the project its name by performing a ritual to ward off ‘l’ammidia’ – the evil eye. The wines are minimal intervention with no added sulphur, and since the two friends don’t consult anyone for outside help, they’re all the product of their own experimentation. They’re also juicy, vibrant and fun – the epitome of summer wines.
