Pre-phylloxera (this is rare) Nerello Mascalese vines planted at a stupid level of altitude, high up in the clouds on Mount Etna. Volcanic soils. The tanks used for ferments here are made from volcanic rocks. This is a volcanic wine, honestly. Vibrancy is certainly not an issue. Good wines off Etna are the most clear representation of "mineral" you will find. Texturally you'll be in dream land. This deserves a phenomenal pizza.
