Trebbiano di Soave, not be to confused with Trebbiano di Toscana. This variety actually makes wines of depth hehe. Historically a go-to for me, I'm stoked to finally get this and the other wines of Suavia up and running. Hits that fine balance between mineral restraint and flamboyance with aplomb. It's just a floral, pear-fruited joy to behold. Giddy up. ABV: 12.5%

Suavia is run by three sisters, Meri, Valentina and Alessandra, who took over the winery from their parents. The winery’s trademark, under their guidance, has become the Garganega variety and the region’s volcanic soils. The vineyards, planted at 300m altitude, benefit from great sun exposure and a marked difference between day and night-time temperatures – perfect conditions, in other words. The wines are mineral, fresh and poised, while still being quaffable. The trifecta, essentially. Quadri-fecta?
