A Benchmark Natural Wine, and probably Italy’s best white. Super complex and super rare.
Edouardo Valentini was widely regarded as one of the most iconic winemakers in Italy, if not the world and his legacy has been ably continued by son Francesco. His wines are extremely hard to come by, with the Trebbiano d’Abruzzo up there as one of the best whites produced in Italy.
Golden in colour and remarkably intense in both aromatic presence and palate concentration. Searing acidity and richness form the hallmarks of structure for extremely long potential ageing. Elegant floral notes of white flowers including broom, Mediterranean herbs that complement the ripe white and yellow fruits, spice and mineral notes.
Due to scarcity this wine is not subject to further discounts.
