If you've never heard of Pantelleria, put it into Google Maps. Woah, right? Tiny island between Tunisia and Sicily, churning out some proper interesting wine. The fruit in the Lustro cuvée is lovely and honeyed, raisins and figs giving way to an almost caramel-like taste in the mouth, cut to pieces by orange blossom aromatics. SO much going on here, all of it good. ABV: 12%

Though the estate was only founded in 2015, Battista Belvisi already had plenty of experience under his belt, having learned to make passito alongside his grandfather and then spending a decade at the legendary Gabrio Bini. Battista has 3.5 hectares of indigenous varieties including Zibbibo and Catarratto.
