This is the first vintage that Alex has bottled under his own label, so if you've ever had any of the Domaine wines you know you're in safe hands. This is such a beautiful expression of Burgundy's less revered white grape with more depth and intensity than you'd expect. Oozing with class, this is fruit driven and zesty. Crunchy pears, stony, and a hint of almond. Pristine. ABV: 12.5%

When one talks of Chassagne-Montrachet it is impossible not to mention the name Bernard Moreau. Year, after year this producer vinifies some of the purest and most compelling wines of the appellation. Opting for a hands-off approach, pruning is used to keep yields low and harvests are done by hand. No pesticides or herbicides are allowed, and only the occasional spray of organic fertilizer is used. Similarly in the cellar, indigenous yeasts kick start the fermentations and the wines are bottled without filtration, however they do see a light fining.
