Valdibella are a super cool anti-Mafia Sicilian co-op that was founded in 1998. They’re committed to organic farming and promoting biodiversity on their land, and alongside wine they also produce honey, almonds, cereals and jams. On the winemaking front, they grow Nero d’Avola, Perricone, Nerello Mascalese, Grillo, Catarratto and Zibibbo, and use minimal sulphur additions. The wines are always fresh, interesting, and most importantly, smashable.
