One for the natty heads. Grapes from a mixture of old and new vines, co-fermented in whole bunches for three weeks before a two year sleep in barrel. The fruit is brambly and the texture is iron-like. No fining, filtering or SO2 adds. Obviously. This is complexity personified. ABV: 12%

Vincent Marie is from Normandy originally, but fell in love with the community (and more importantly, the soil) in Auvergne, so settled down there to start the No Control project. He has five hectares in and around Volvic, primarily Gamay d'Auvergne, and all work in the vineyard is done painstakingly by hand and by horse.
