Benjamin Benoit took over his father’s cellar in the Jura aged just 25 – but he was more than prepared, having already worked under Charles Lachaux, Nicolas Faure, and Amélie Berthaut. But he’s making wine that’s all his own. He bottles each vineyard and lieu-dit individually, aiming to shine a light on the diversity of the Pupillin region’s terroir. He is in the process of moving the winery to organic practices, to aid the natural biodiversity in the vines.
