This is scintillating. 100% Pinot Noir, lovely and golden in the glass. Full force fizz of the highest order. Fruit-forward, lightly toasty, incredibly savoury and moreish. I'd drink this every day if I could. I couldn't, could I? ABV: 12%

Frédéric Savart’s grandfather planted vines in Champagne in 1947, later passing the boutique estate on to his son, who then passed it on again to Frédéric. The second he took it over, Frédéric did away with pesticides and herbicides and took a more manual approach, tending the vines and making the champagnes single-handedly. The wines are Pinot Noir-dominant, vibrant and balanced, as well as pretty limited. Load up!
