Dane of Momento Mori had various former lives – electronic musician, barista – before getting his winemaking nouse working with Aussie wine legends Adam Marks and Bill Downie. He and his wife Hannah now own three plots in Gippsland, Victoria, and also source quality fruit from trusted growers. Vinification is done with minimal intervention, with wild yeast fermentation, no new oak (yay!) and no additions. Their wines are electric – unique, characterful, fresh, pure, alive… adjectives on adjectives.
