PARTIDA CREUS
Partida Creus, UL Ull de Llebre Tinto 2019
Couldn't load pickup availability
Ull de Llebre is the local strain of Tempranillo, and it's very much the antithesis of what you'll find to the west in Rioja. Carbonic fermentation, vibrant fruit, dusty tannins. She's a wild one, in a nice way. Drink chilled, and give it some air.
Producer: Partida Creus
Region/Country: Penedes, Spain
Grape/s: Ull de Llebre (Tempranillo)
Production Method: Organic viticulture and minimal intervention winemaking are the rules here. Wild fermented and aged in barrique before bottling unfined and unfiltered with no added SO2.
Style: It's vibrant whilst being a wine of depth at the same time. Lovely tannins, this one will mature, it'll be interesting to see it in a few.
